Bethiah Clark was born August 1708 in Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts to Nathan Clark and Jemima Jewett. [1][2]
There is a 17 Feb 1725 Middleborough, Massachussetts birth record for a William Clark, "reputed son of Bethiah Clark and William Parler (1689-)." [3] This is a clear reference to an illegitimate birth and infers Bethiah was never married to William Parler.
She married Gershom Samson (or Sampson) on 2 May 1727 in Middleborough, Massachusetts. [4]
