The 1841 census entry for the family, who are now living in Pound Dale Cottage, Clewer, Berkshire shows John Clark, age 60, Ind, not born in county; Sarah age 55, not born in county; Harriet, age 25, not born in county; Fanny, age 15, born Berkshire; Clara, age 13, born Berkshire; Mary, age 10, born Berkshire. In 1851, John is living at 58, Peascod Street, Clewer, with his youngest daughter, Mary Ann. He is shown as a 74 year old widower, a retired servant, born ?? (no county shown looks something like Wicestey). Mary Ann, his daughter, is 20 years old, born Clewer. [2]
