On June 17, 1880, he was a farmer living with his wife and their four children in Leoni, Jackson County, Michigan.[3]
On June 20, 1900, he was living with his wife and two of their children on a farm in Hersey, Osceola County, Michigan.[4]
George died May 13, 1911 in Hersey, Osceola, Michigan. He is buried there in Hersey Village Cemetery.[1]
