Hamblet Benjamin Clark was born on July 24, 1901 in Dent County, Missouri to Oren Edward Clark and Lillian Gertrude Ball Clark. He was the grandson of Hamblet Clark and Laura Ann Hake Clark. He was the great-grandson of Henry Miller Hake and Rachel Schaffer Wortman Hake and Daniel Benjamin Ball and Lucity Spivy Ball.

Hamblet Benjamin Clark married Helen Edith Jones on February 4, 1922. Helen was the first wife of Hamblet. She was born on May 3, 1901 in Dent County, Missouri. Helen was the daughter of Robert Phillip Jones and Maggie Ester Golden Jones. Robert Jones was born in 1871 and died in 1949. Maggie Jones was born in 1881 and died in 1945.

Helen Edith Jones Clark passed away on April 12, 1964 in Puxico, Missouri. She is buried a the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.

Hamblet's second wife was Effie Bowers. They were married on October 18, 1967. Effie was born on February 12, 1907 I Dent County, Missouri. She died on March 16, 1992 in Salem, Missouri. She is buried in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.

Hamblet Benjamin Clark passed away on October 3, 1982. He is buried at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
