Biography
John Clark was born around1812 in the parish of Catrine, Ayrshire.[1]
John Clark married Elizabeth McLachlan in the parish of Sorn, Ayrshire on 26 August 1842.[2]
The couple had two children:
By 1851 John, a cotton handloom weaver, and his family were living at Bridge Street in Sorn[1]
John died, aged 50, in the parish of Sorn, Ayrshire in 1861. His mother's maiden surname was given as "McKenna" [4]
