DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
The daughter of Reuben Clark, dec'd, and his widow Martha E. Clark was named Sarah Burdine, dec'd, in the 1835 will of Henry Towles. (Will of Henry Towles dated 26 May 1835. Madison County, VA Will Book 6, pp. 287-289.) This relationship is further substantiated by a lengthy Chancery suit against the executor of Henry Towles Estate. Theses incorrect parents were removed from this profile 17 Dec 2023.
