Sylvanus Clark was born 1 Feb 1691 at Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut, the 6th child of Ebenezer and his first wife Sarah (possibly Peck) Clark. Sylvanus married Damaris Hitchcock at Wallingford on 22 Apr 1717. Damaris died in Nov 1731, and Sylvanus married second, Abiah Lines, daughter of Ralph and Abiah (Bassett) Lines.[1]
