James Clark was born on 10 July 1844 in Cockfighters Creek, Bulga, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of John Clark and Rebecca McMullen. His siblings were Kezia (Clark) Lumby, John Clark, William Clark, Henry Clark, Sarah (Clark) Hall, Susannah Clark, Rebecca (Clark) Shields, Ann Maria Clark, Edward Peter Clark and Mary Ann (Clark) Hall.
He married Ann Jane Parry on 24 May 1869 in St John's Church, Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia[2]. Their children were Deborah Sylvia (Clark) Sonter, Rosalind Ann (Clark) Allen, Herbert Hedley Clark, Arthur James Clark, Rubina Rebecca (Clark) Hull, Edith Emily (Clark) Irvine, Reuben Archie Clark and Herbert Milward Clark. The Clark family were pioneers of the Dairy Industry when they settled on Midginbil Creek on the Tweed and raised Illawarra Shorthorn Cattle, winning prizes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
James died on 9 June 1907 in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, Australia [3].
