John was born in 1719. John is the child of Alexander Clark and Sarah Van Horn. [1]

John was born about 1710. John Clark ... He passed away about 1777. [2]

His name is given as Jan Cerk and his wife as Antje Doorn on the christening of their son Alexander 16 October 1743, Freehold & Middletown, NJ. No wits. [3]

His name is given as Jan Clerk in Beekman's Early Settlers of Monmouth. Note that the date given appears to be a birth date rather than the marriage date. [4]
