Rebecca and her husband Annanian Davis were part of the move westward of members of the Seventh Day Baptist community that settled in Harrison County, Virginia (present day West Virginia).They were married in 1804 in Harrison County and they soon moved to Warren or Warren County, Ohio. They had at least 12 children together. In their later years, Ananias and his wife removed to Curry, Indiana, where he passed away in 1859.[2]
