Ezekiel Cleaver was born to Peter Cleaver, Jr. and Elizabeth (Potts) Cleaver in Upper Dublin, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1729[1].
On January 10, 1755 at Horsham Meeting in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, he married Mary Lewis, daughter of Ellis Lewis and Mary Tyson. They had eight children, whom they raised on a 140 acre farm in Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County[2]. His name is listed in the Pennsylvania Revolutionary War Battalions and Index List.
He passed away in April of 1785, leaving a will that names his children and leaves to son Ezekiel, Jr. 200 acres on which he had constructed a saw mill [3].
