According to the source listed here, Margaret Cleland b. 17 Sep 1794 was the daughter of David Cleland & Margaret Prentice of Lanark, Lanarks.

Thomas Cleland & Jean Millar did have a daughter Margaret born in Stonehouse in 1792.

It is not clear at the moment which, if either, married John Hamilton.

Hi, your profiles, Cleland-611, Cleland-562 and Cleland-567 are the same profile, you need to merge these to form one profile. Cleland-285 (although not yours) is also another duplicate profile as well. Cheers Drew.
