Elizabeth Clements was born about 1747 in Goochland County, VA. She was the daughter of William Clements and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. About 1770, Elizabeth married Joseph Robert and had these children:

In the name of God, amen, March the twenty sixth eighteen hundred three, I Wm Right Clements of Amherst County, of state of Virginia, being very low [?] in health, and weak of body, but of sound and perfect mind & memory, I thank god for the same, therefore calling to mind and knowing the I and all men are mortal, I therefore ordain this to be, my last Will & Testament, making all others void, that hath heretofore been made.
Item: I give & bequeath unto my daughter Joicy Clements[*], one hundred acres of Land, including my dwelling house, & one sorrel horse, & three head of cattle, & one feather bed & furniture, to her & her heirs forever.
Item: I give & bequeath unto my daughter Mary Tomblin, one feather bed, furniture, to her and her heirs forever.
Item: I give & bequeath to my son James Clements, one feather bed & furniture, to him & his heirs forever.
Item: I give & bequeath to my son Frances [sic] Clements, one feather bed & furniture, & three head of cattle, to him and his heirs forever.
Item: I give & bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Clements the remainder of my Estate both real & personal, to her during her natural life, & at her deceased, to be equally divided amongst my children, viz [?], Stephen Clements, Wm Clements, James Clements, Jessy Clements, John Clements, Francis Clements, Mary Tomblin, Joice Clements, & one equal moiety [?] to the children of my deceased daughter Elizabeth Roberts.
I constitute & appoint my beloved wife Mary Clements & sons James & Jessy Clements exetors to this my last.... Randolph Cash [?] mark At a Court held for Amherst County the 20th day of June 1803.
This last Will & Testament of Wm Right Clements, dec'd [?], was presented in Court & proven by the oath of Ambrose Rucker jun, Tinsley Rucker, & H [?] Randolph Cash subscribing minutes thereof, & ordered to be recorded. ----------------------------------
In all occurrences of the name "Clements" in this will — with the exception of the name "Wm Right Clements" — the name appears to be "Clement" or to be "Clements" with the "s" only very lightly written
