Biography
He is the son of George Clemens and Cecilia Jensen.
Anders Clemens lived in Petone for nearly 20 years working as a Plasterer and later a Factory Hand.
His name was drawn in the 1940 WWII Ballot.
In 1942, he married Ivy Edna Lewis. They settled at Petone and moved to Porirua in the late 1960's where he was employed as a Process Worker.
Anders was widowed in 1983 when Ivy died age 62.
He stayed in Porirua till 1981 possibly later and next moved south to Westport on the West Coast.
Anders passed away age 71 at Buller Hospital and is buried at Orowaiti Cemetery, Westport. BLK 27 PLOT B.[1]
