John Clevenger has English ancestors.
John Clevenger was born in 1775, in Frederick Virginia. He was a son of Thomas Clevenger (1739-1810) and Psyche "Sitchie" Pittman (1743-1846!)
About 1800, he married Becky Beluah Ridgeway (1774-1826). They had the following children:
