Katherine Clifton was born to John Clifton and Katherine Cressy in about 1385.^[1]

Edmund FitzWilliam and Katherine Clifton were married and they had one child:^[2]

Edmund's first wife, Katherine, died 14 March 1435.^[2] This is recorded in a list of obits in the Fitzwilliam Missal, in the collection of the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, which gives the date as 14 March 1434, meaning 1434/5.^[3]
