The FamilySearch entry, PID K8MB-5R6 for John Adam Cline (about 1771–10 September 1844), has only one source attached as of 29 December 2021, and it is for the marriage of a Polly Cline to Thornton F Violett in Switzerland, Indiana (the first bulleted source listed in this profile). The image of the record includes that her father, "Mr. Cline", gave permission for the license to be issued - which it was, on 24 April 1820. This source serves to confirm that Polly's maiden name was Cline, her father was alive as of 24 April 1820, and she (presumably) married Thornton F. Violett. It does not say her father's name was John nor give the names of his parents.

Lacking any support that this profile represents the son John named in the will, dated 1 December 178x, of Michael Kline of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, I intend to detach it from Michael's profile and that of his wife, Catarina.

Polly, married in 1820, cannot be the Polly, daughter of John Cline of Indiana, who was 7 in 1822 - see the pension application citation for that Polly's father on the profile of Bennett Cline (abt.1804-1881), who is also named in the application.

Looking at their profiles, I don't see that either is clearly identified as the John Klein named in Michael Klein's c1782 will. Pending research that does and if no objection I propose that he (son John) gets a section on Michael and/or Catarina Shuffert-3's profile with links to this and the other John Cline, but that both are disconnected from their profiles.
