Biography

Research Notes

Her former father Thomas Clinton, 8th Lord Clinton d. in 1517 and never married Margery Tracy.

The article in The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, Volume 46, pages 390-391 actually states she was the daughter of Thomas Clinton, Esq. of Castleditch, Hertfordshire and Margery, daughter of Richard Tracy Esq. of Toddington.

The article in Vol 46 of NYGBR which was in part suggested by Gustav Anjou, is disproven. Note there is no Bridstone in Hertfordshire.[1]
