Birth and Baptism René Cloutier was baptized on 19 Feb 1651 at Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Quebec, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1] He was born the day before. He was the son of Zacharie Cloutier and Madeleine Émard.
The baptismal act is written in Latin. An attempt at a reasonable translation is:
The year 1651 - day 19 February - I Jos Poncet baptized in the Church of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Quebec, gods baby (René Cloutier) the day before born of Zacharie Cloutier and Madgeleine Aymar married members of the parish. Godfather René Robineau and godmother Catherine Legardeur.
Marriage Rene Cloustier and Marie Leblanc signed a marriage contract with Notary Paul Vachon on 13 Nov 1672.[2] A copy of their marriage record has not been found.

Death René Cloutier died between 16 Nov 1711, the marriage of his daughter Genevieve, and 6 Nov 1713, the marriage of his son Guillaume.
