Marie Magdelaine Cloutier was born on 29 Aug 1750 and was baptized "sous condition" the next day in Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours parish in L'Islet. She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Cloutier and Angélique Thibault. Godparents at Magdelaine's baptism were Jean Durand and Felicité Thibault.
At age 13 Magdelaine married Joseph Marie Blanchet on 27 Feb 1764 in Saint-Pierre-de-le-Rivière-du-Sud parish in Montmagny. Magdelaine died at age 53 on 16 Sep 1803; she was buried the next day in Saint-Hyacinthe parish cemetery.
