Le 8 janvier 1850, à St-Joseph-de-Beauce, il épouse Rose de Lima DUPUIS GILBERT, Rose Delima, fille d'Augustin et de Anathalie VACHON. [2] Leurs enfants connus sont (Sources: IGD et BAC):

En secondes noces, le 14 février 1860, à St-Joseph-de-Beauce, il épouse Adèle BOILY, fille de Jean Baptiste et d'Angèle BILODEAU. [3]
Augustin et sa seconde épouse Adèle, sont recensés à St-Joseph-de-Beauce en 1861. Vitaline, 6 ans, fille de son premier mariage, vit avec eux. [4]
Ils émigrent dans le Maine avant 1870, où Augustin est recensé à Dexter, Penobscot, sous le nom d'Augustus CLUCKEY. Selon ce recensement, Augustin et Adèle auraient eu les enfants suivants:

Augustus Clukey (1828 - October 10, 1918), one of the oldest residents of Dexter, died Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mountain on Grove street, at the age of 90 years. Mr. Clukey was born in Canada but has lived for many years in this town, where he was highly respected. His wife passed away several months ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Mountain, Mrs. Fred Folsom, Mrs. John Pooler, and two sons, Frank Clukey and Paul Clukey.[12]

Augustus is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, Maine. Birth place listed as Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Chaudiere-Appalaches Region, Quebec, Canada. Other possible children: Frank (1856-1919), Paul Napoleon (1863-1940), Lucy M Clukey Mountain (1876-1959), Sadie Clukey folsom (1881 - 1873)[14][15]
Born October 22, 1828 according to naturalization record on August 23, 1892. Arrived in US in 1862.[16]
