Janet Shafer

LISBON - Janet Marie Shafer, 56, of Lisbon, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 8, 1959, in East Liverpool, the daughter of Helen (Pringe) Clutter of West Point and the late Charles Clutter.

She graduated from Beaver Local High School in 1976. She was employed as a machine operator for Bayley Envelope, and was a member of Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Thomas Shafer; two sons: Charles Shafer and Andrew Shafer, both of West Point; one step-son: Thomas Shafer of Florida; and two grandsons.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Offerdahl of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsville.
