In 1940, he lived in Los Angeles, California, with his wife Jane, her father Isaac Green, her brother Harry, and two boarders, Everett Cameron and Robert Miller[3].
He registered for the draft for World War II in Pasadena, California, naming his sister, Susan Graybill as his next of kin. He was employed by Riverview Laundry in Los Angeles[4].
