Roy was born in 1929. He was the son of Walter Cobb and Margaret Rutherford. He passed away in 2004. [1]
of Salisbury, MO died at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly. Roy was the son of Walter and Margaret Elizabeth (Rutherford) Cobb. He married Betty Dankert on December 24, 1980 in Keytesville. Roy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Roy worked for the Armco Steel Company in Kansas City as an electrician and speed control operator for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was a former member of the First Christian Church and had recently attended Pleasant Woods Baptist Church. Roy was a former member of the Mason's, VFW and was treasurer for the YMCA in Kansas City. Roy is survived by his wife Betty of the home, two sons; Stanley Cobb of Kansas City, MO; Josh Cobb of Salisbury, MO; five daughters Rebecca Stapleton (Chad) of Salisbury; Raegina Cobb of Salisbury; Shelia Julo of Raytown, MO; Susan Christian of Lee's Summit, MO; and Sandra Jones of Pleasant Valley, MO; a brother George Cobb of Claycomo, MO; eleven grandchildren: several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mina Eubank: and an infant grandson.
