Biography

Thankful was born 10 Jul 1714 at Barnstable,^[1] daughter of Gershom and Hannah (Davis) Cobb.^[2]

She married 14 Oct 1746 at Barnstable David Dimock^[3] and they had no apparent children.^[2]

On 24 May 1751 widow Hannah Cobb received her dower and one-seventh of the real estate of Gershom Cobb went to Thankful Dimmock, On 28 April 1758 in a division of the real estate of Gershom Cobb late of Barnstable, which had been set off to his relict widow now deceased, a one-seventh portion was set off to Thankful Dimmock and her heirs.^[2]
