Biography

Thomas was born in South Australia, the son of James Cobbledick and Lucy Brann. In the civil registration, his birthplace/residence is recorded as Mt Lofty.[1]

COBBLEDICK—GRANT.—On the 7th September, 1871, at St. Mathew's Church, Kensington, by the Rev. Edmond Jenkins. Thomas Brann Cobbledick; of Mount Lofty, to Sophia Grant, of Stirling East, late of Maitland. Present address—Marion-road North Plympton. [2]

Thomas passed away 26 July 1940, in his 92nd year. [3] [4]

COBBLEDICK. —On the 26th of July, at Martin avenue, Plympton, Thomas Brann, dearly beloved husband of Sophia Cobbledick, late of Maitland, in his 92nd year. [5]

He was buried at Centennial Park with Sophia. In November 1998, Walter and Helen Harris joined them.[6]
