Biography

Sir John Cokayne of Ashbourne, Derby (d. 1372 or later),[1] was Chief Steward for the northern half of the Duchy of Lancaster.[2]

He married Cecily Vernon. She was the daughter of:[2]

  • and Margaret, dau. of Sir Robert Stopford. [2]
