Abigail Cockayne, daughter of William Cockayne and his wife, Mary Morris, was baptised on 26th August 1610 at St Peter le Poer as the daughter of Mr William Cokaine, the elder[1].
On 2 December 1630 she became the second wife of John Carey, Viscount Rochford. Together they had daughters, Mary (1631-1696) and Abigail who died young.
