Biography

When Nancy Friedericke Cockerill was born on October 15, 1816, in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, her father, Charles, was 29, and her mother, Karoline, was 24. She married Johann Arnold Maximilian Ferdinand Haniel on November 23, 1839, in Kirchen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had two children during their marriage. She died on October 26, 1854, in Ruhrort, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, at the age of 38.
