Went to Oklahoma during opening of Cherokee Strip and opened a hardware store in Orlando, OK. Contracted with a tinsmith to make tin cups by soldering a bottom into a circle of tin. Cups sold at $1 each. Sold hardware store for $7000 and opened a bank in Guthrie, OK. Later opened another in Ontario, OR. 32nd degree Mason.
