Biography

When comparing the 1850 GA census to the 1860 AL census for the same family Mary, Riley, Sarah, and Selena do not show up. Levitha was 5 and John was an infant on the 1860 census, so they had not been born yet on the 1850 census. Mary had probably gotten married and moved to a different household. I am not sure what happened to Riley b. 1847, Sarah b. 1850, or Selena b. 1846 unless they were Mary's children and moved out with her. It is possible that Levitha 5 and infant John were grandchildren.

In the related Yielding line, the name Riley was sometimes used as a nickname for Richard.

see notes for sister Syntha (Centhy) and other siblings. The Yieldings, Cockrums, Rayburn (Raburn), Cantrells, Watkins, Hudsons, and Simmons lines seem to have several relationships going.
