Cora Lee Coffee was born 30 Apr 1930, in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Her parents were William Carlton Coffey (1884–1957) and Bessie Mae Townsend (1890–1956). Cora married John McCoy "Coy" Gragg. CoraGragg passed away 5 Apr 2013 , in Lenoir, Caldwell County, North Carolina.[1][2][3]
"Mrs. Cora Lee Greer, age 82, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care -Lenoir. She was born April 30, 1930 in Watauga County to the late Will and Bessie Townsend Coffey. She was preceded in death by two husbands, John McCoy Gragg and Walter Perry Greer; and one infant daughter.
Mrs. Greer was retired from Kincaid Furniture and was a member of Celia Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Albert "Bud" Gragg, Billy Joe Gragg and wife Patsy, and Allen Michael Gragg and wife Denise, all of Lenoir; one daughter, Anna Lee Bare and husband Tim of Lenoir; one brother, Abe Coffey and wife Mary of Blowing Rock; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Aaron Shell and Rev. Richard Shew. Burial will be at White Springs Cemetery in Blowing Rock at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. one hour prior to the service."
