Biography

Elizabeth was born around 1779 to David Harmon Coffman and Mary Ann Lovell. Elizabeth married John Legg at age 22, and was widowed in 1811 in Tennessee. Her father moved from Tennessee to Limestone County, Alabama in 1823 [1], and it's possible that she moved with him. She died in Alabama in 1826 at 47 years old, and is buried in the family cemetery in Tennessee.
