SoPHRONiA M.^'^ Cogswell, {Bela^, Elisha^, Edwanr, Edivard^, Saimtel^y Edward'^, IVi/liani^, William^, yohn^), daughter of Rev. Bela^ [ 1719 ] and Eunice (Prentice) Cogswell, was born July 4, 1841, in Silvara, Pa. She married, Sept. 30, 1861, John Ruger, son of Philip and Eliza (Thompson) Ruger. He was born March 24, 1834, in Gilboa, N. Y. They resided in Tuscarora, Pa.
