Elizabeth was born about 1700 in Virginia. She is the daughter of Caleb Coker. She passed away about February/March 1774 in Pitt County, North Carolina.
Elizabeth married James Spier about 1720, probably in Virginia.[1]
Elizabeth Speir was named in the will of her father, Caleb Coker, dated 11 June 1748 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Her husband, James Speir, was named co-executor with Caleb's wife, Mary Coker.[2]
Mrs. Elizabeth Speir was witness to will of Matthew Scott, Pitt County, North Carolina, dated 26 August 1771 & proved 6 December 1771.[2]

Elizabeth's will was dated 9 October 1773 and proved on 23 March 1774 in Pitt County, North Carolina. Abstract of will:
