She died in her 33rd year and was buried at Mappowder. Her memorial, recorded by Hutchins read:
Heere sleepes ye body of Mary Brune, ye first wife of Charles Brune esq. and ye first daughter of Robert Coker,esq who dyed ye 2d aprill, 1636 being the 33rd year of her age[4]
