DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
I suspect her birth year is 1674, I've added a link to the original birth records and the surrounding births are all within a few months of hers, but they're not in perfect date order. Note that there are a few March 1674 mixed in with Jan and Feb 1673, so I'm thinking she was born on 22 Jan 1673/4. Why does this matter? She had a brother Robert whose birth was not recorded, but based on their father's will it appears he was the second son. If so, he was perhaps born between the eldest brother Edward in Sep 1670 and Mary born in Jan 1673/4. If she was born in 1674, there's more time for a sibling between these two.
Baker-12928 and Coborn-6 appear to represent the same person because: The Mary Baker that married Samuel Balch was the widow of Jonathan Baker. Her maiden name was Coburn. These two are the same woman.
