Mary Coldwell was born in 1750 in Connecticut Colony, daughter of William Coaldwell (1695–1802) and Jane Jordan (1717–1796).

Her siblings were:

Mary married Gilbert Forsythe.

Mary died in 1851 in New Horton, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada, aged 100.
