Estella M Cole was born in Illinois on July 6, 1882, to John Thomas and Ida Mae (Reddig) Cole.[1,3] She was the oldest of the five children in her family.[3] On February 18, 1901, she married George Forest Stanbro in Davenport, Iowa.[2] The couple moved back to Illinois. Stella and George had one daughter, Ellen, born on July 19, 1917 in Erie, Illinois.[7] Stella and George lived in various places in Illinois during George's long career with the Burlington Railroad.[4,5,6] Stella died on June 23, 1951.[1]
