When Issac Cole was born on May 30, 1714, in Orleans, Massachusetts, his father, Timothy, was 29 and his mother, Apphia, was 27. He had one son and six daughters with Ann Doane. He died in 1780 in New York at the age of 66.

In 1737, he married Ann Doane, daughter of Isaac Doane and Margaret Atwood in 1737[2][3]
