Timothy Cole was the son of Timothy Cole and Ruth Smith of Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts.
On 2 Nov 1709, Timothy married Apphia Pepper,[1] daughter of Isaac Pepper and Apphia Freeman[2], and their children included:
"Doritha Cole the daughter of Timothy and Apphya Cole was born at Eastham the 22nd day of September anno dom 1710" and "Doritha Cole the daughter of Timothy Cole above so dyed the eighth day of Febuary anno 1710/11"[2]
"Doritha Cole the daughter of Timothy and Apphia Cole was born at Eastham May ye 15th 1712"[2]
"Isaac Cole the son of Timothy and Apphia Cole was born at Eastham on the thirtieth day of May anno dom : 1714"[2]
"Susanna Cole the daughter of Timothy and Apphia Cole was born at Eastham on the fifteenth day of July annodomini : 1716 :"[2]
"Apphia Cole the daughter of Timothy and Apphia Cole was born on ye 20th day of March annodomini : 1718/18 [sic] : and dyed on ye 27th day of June annodom : 1718"[2]
"Timothy Cole the Son of Timothy and Elisabeth Cole was born at Eastham on ye twentyseventh day of August annodom 1722"[3][4] (Son Timothy's death was recorded as 4 May 1722. The entire family record was entered at one time – this is probably an entry error. This entry follows Elizabeth's death, and suggests that son Timothy's death was probably 27 Aug 1723. It's not expected that there would be other documentation to verify this unless church records are located.)
"Elizabeth Cole the wife of Timothy Cole dyed on the thirtifirst day of August annodom : 1722"[3][4] (4 days after the birth of her son.)
Timothy then married Martha Almony on 4 Sep 1723.[3][4] Their children included:
"Apphya Cole the daughter of Timothy and Martha Cole was born at Eastham on the fifth day of October annodomini : 1724"[3][4]
"Timothy Cole was born at Eastham on ye twentythird day of May annodomini 1728 and died in November 1752"[3][4]
"Martha Cole the daughter of Timothy & Martha Cole died April the 25 : 1728: [3][4]
"Martha Cole daughter of Timothy & Martha Cole was born the ninth day of March 1729/30"[3][4]
"Elizabeth Cole daughter of Timothy & Martha Cole was born ye 12 of July 1732"[4][3]
"Jesse Cole son of Timothy Cole & Martha Cole was born 11 day of August 1735 and died in Desembar ye 10: 1753"[4][3]
Timothy wrote his will on 2 Apr 1760. In it are mentioned his (3rd) wife Martha, Son Isaac Cole
