Hillsborough seems to have moved to Orange County later on.
Note N3080One of Loyd's daughters may have been the Sarah Cole who married Chesley Yates in Wake, NC 3 Jan 1820.
Married Elizabeth Driver 1836 in Wake County, which is very strange because he was in TN by 1830. Maybe a different Loyd Cole?
Julius Jackson Cole was admitted as a member of the Hollow Rock Baptist Church in May 1827. So, it is most likely that Loyd and his family moved to TN between December 1826 and May 1827.
Note N3688At Sawyers Mill turn south off Hwy 70 West at Pleasant Eidge Baptist Church. After crossing the railroad track take the right fork in the road. As you top the hill Mrs. Lottie Holland's residence is on the left. About 400 ft further or near the edge of the woods there are three rows of sunken graves all unmarked.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Loyd by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Loyd:
I have a death date of 1860 for Loyd, but cannot confirm it. He has an FAG memorial, number 52797013, if you could get someone to photograph the headstone, if there is one, it might give a date.
