Ethel was born in 1919, the youngest daughter of Clarence Cole and Esther Anna Maria (Bloomburg) Cole and grew up in Kingston, PA. She attended the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse in Philadelphia until her marriage in 1941. The couple had their honeymoon on Point Judith, Rhode Island, and later settled in West Barrington, at 41 Alfred Drowne Road, where they raised their children. Ethel passed away in 1991. [1]
