Biography

Hilliard Cole was born in Sophiasburgh Township, Prince Edward County, Ontario, in 1878. He was there with his father in 1891 and was a lodger in Prince Edward County in 1901. In 1910 he was with his uncle Robert Roblin in Stockton, California. In 1915 he married Margaret G. Smith. They lived in Stockton. They had a daughter in 1917/18. In 1940 he was secretary-treasurer in a wholesale hardware. Hilliard died in Stockton in 1965 and was buried in Stockton Rural Cemetery.
