Biography

When Sidney Wells Cole was born on October 17, 1806, in Panton, Vermont, his father, Samuel, was 25 and his mother, Rachel, was 20. He married Jermima L Sloat Cole on August 29, 1830. They had at least ten children in 16 years. He died on March 5, 1897, in Garland, Pennsylvania, at the impressive age of 90, and was buried there.
