Biography

Abner Cole was born on 17 August 1783 in Goshen, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. [1] His parents were Southworth and Rucksbe Cole. [1] He was baptized on 30 October 1784 in Chesterfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. [2]

He appeared in the 1810 US Census in Geneva, Ontario County, New York. [3]

He married Fanny B. Lawrence on 14 October 1810 in Randolph, Morris County, New Jersey. [4] They had the following children:

  1. Lawrence Washington b. 1812 [5]
  2. James M. b. abt. 1820 [6]

He appeared in the 1830 US Census in Palmyra, Wayne County, New York. [7]

He died on 13 July 1835. [5]
