I would love any more info you have on Edmond/Edward Cole .. Brother of William Cole. Everything that I see, William was an only child. Thank you!!!
Hi,

I’m Matty. How are you? Need any help?

Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Please look at how to write a biography and how to put sources in.

Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700’s ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It’s a great step-by-step guide.

And I’m here to help too, just ask!

Willis, you are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

Thanks for volunteering and welcome to the Tree!

I found a page in Burke's Landed Gentry that changes Edmond Cole to Edward Cole. It suggests that he is the Edward Cole in the Family of Cole Genealogy by James Edwin-Cole.

Hi Willis,

I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. We have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening. If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details. Bill

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step instruction of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The Help Pages give lots of information about the process starting with: 'Before you import a GEDCOM'

Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDMatch Report if you want to import it into WikiTree.

Willis,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.

A couple suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum .

2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.

If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)
