Feb 5, 1770: William Blaydes married Mary Ann Hawes Coleman, the daughter of John and Eunice (Nice) Hawes Coleman of Spotsylvania. This information was recorded from the Blaydes Bible in the possession of Mrs. Kathleen Dauson of Livingston, Virginia.

Eunice (Nice) Hawes died, according to Bible on Feb 8, 1806. John Coleman was the son of Robert Coleman who patented land (son's John and Richard) in Spotsylvania County, on Dec 2,1723.
