Hi Janet

As A percentage of my ancestors came from Sussex, I joined the Sussex Family History Group. The information I have, came from them and I use that as my primary source. Is it not sufficient?, because I have no other. If it is not sufficient, I will not add any person born before 1700 Regards Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Thank you for the help with Thomas Wesson. Just had a quick look at his connections, looks like a great job on his family tree and cousins. I'll remove myself as manager on his ancestors. You are welcome to adopt them. You have a much better, more direct connection, and more interest in seeing that tree looked after.
