Jane (Coleman) Mowlem was born in Swanage, Dorset, England.

Jane, daughter of Thomas Coleman and Elizabeth Warren, was baptised on 24 December 1797 at St Mary’s Church, Swanage, Dorset, England [1]

Jane married James Mowlem on 27 April 1823 at St John the Evangelist, Westminster, London, England and they had seven verified children [2]

James and Jane had seven children (five survived); the youngest two children were born in New York.
